The Ultum Nature Systems Atmos Light Background is an LED backlight specifically designed for Ultum Nature Systems rimless aquariums. Functions great, but had issues UNS should have considered (maybe I missed something in the instructions, but considering how simple it is I can’t guess what):1) The hanging bracket/tab tolerance was too tight to fit between the aquarium’s side panes (UNS 90p). Quick fix with a router to extend the bracket slots2) Wouldn’t fit between tank and UNS pro light hanging kit uprights (installed on a UNS 90p cabinet). Had to make some spacers to back the light bracket off the cabinet to squeeze it in. But as for the form/function of the background light itself it’s absolutely great.

The UNS Atmos background is very well built fits perfectly according to glass thickness. Operability and ease of use is amazing. The ONLY complaint I have with this background light is that when you set the light to ‘White’ as per the UNS instructions, the color is more of a light blue/violet. If this could be perfectly white, I would be willing to purchase more. Buceplant has always treated me well and everything else has been fantastic.

Let me state that Buceplant is 5 stars. Shipped fast and well packed, light arrived in perfect condition even though FedEx was the shipper.I give the Atmos 4 stars due to the fact I had fitting issues like another reviewer. The mounts as is would have placed outward pressure on the tank, not good on a rimless design. Had to remove them and use a file to get clearance. Luckily they are soft aluminum and file easy. Tight tolerances, too tight in my opinion.Crappy instructions. Don’t forget the tiny pads on both sides of the mount.

This was a great addition to my new UNS 90U tank. Looks awesome. Fun party trick. Definitely different than normal backgrounds, paint, etc. The original one I got started coming apart for whatever reason on day 2. BucePlant had a new one shipped out immediately and UNS reached out as well to see what had happened. Both UNS and BucePlant took care of the customer and product. I agree that the hooks used to hang to the tank are a little fragile being aluminum. Have to be very careful when you are threading the nut on not to strip it or break them. Any issues, just contact BucePlant, they have been more thank helpful.

It is nice for a light panel but it’s not worth the cost. It is a thin plastic panel with leds inside that can change color. The chihiros rgb Cii is a different product but was machined from aluminum, lights the tank, changes to any color i choose, connects to an app, can be programmed to come on and turn off when i choose and is cheaper- and that’s considered a fairly expensive light. For what this does and is, not worth the money. UNS is charging for their name not function.
