Love it. Really looks sharp and directs the light into the tank really well. In my setup, the light was at eye level and it was annoying when observing the tank. This resolved that. Also, it’s nice they just clip on, so it makes it easy to pop off for tank access.

I love the fact I can watch TV in my living room and no longer be blinded by my light at the same time. I also like how easy they are to take off when you do maintenance. I will definitely be getting one for my other chihiros light.

Pretty disappointed in this product. I purchased it thinking the reflective panels would catch some of the lost light and focus it down into the tank. Sure they might do a little of that, but they’re not like mirrors, more like a cheap reflective fabric. I’ve noticed that my tank is dimmer with this on than with it off. Of course the main part of this is the shade and it’s really well made. I do wish it actually fastened to the light. It just fits in the grooves on top, so when I lift the light to get my lid off, I have to be careful the shades don’t slide off.
