The Chihiros Z Light Tiny is configured in two distinct structural models to expand your design boundaries. It is critical to select the version that matches your desired installation environment:
The Normal Edition (IP43): Engineered exclusively for standard overhead rim-mounting. It is designed to sit safely above the open water column or directly over humid terrarium bowls. DO NOT submerge the Normal Edition under any circumstances.
The Diving Edition (IP67): Features a robust, entirely waterproof housing. This upgrade allows the lamp head to be safely positioned underwater or tucked behind rocks and driftwood to project radical upward beams, deep hardscape shadows, or localized underwater highlights.

This is a pretty unique light in that you get the Chihiros quality of life features (app integration, programmability, dimming, good build quality) in a pretty unique form factor. Being a pendant as opposed to a strip light means you can create some amzaing ripple effects, and being a small, 5W light makes it perfect for nano lights (as opposed to a $300 Kessil!) This has been the perfect light for my nano blackwater.

Paired this with a UNS 25c and it looks great. Good quality plastic with lots of positions. I really like the spotlight effect it gives. So glad I didn’t go with the cheaper Amazon alternative. Some adjustability in brightness, warmth and timer the app which is fun

Quickly received this light after ordering. It was well packaged and game safely. The light is perfect for my small tank and my plants seem to responding well after 2 weeks. The scheduling and app isn’t as good as it could be.

The light intensity is great but the arm is very small and it is a very narrow beam of light, even if you open up the beam to the widest setting.
