I thought this light would use the same app as the nano, but it doesn’t, so you don’t get the ability to set custom sunrise and sunset. The app only allows you to run a single photoperiod that clicks on or off, of select a sunrise time for an 11 hour “nature” photoperiod for which you also cannot control intensity. Also, the color selection is absurd. It’s one “white” and 2 reef modes. Buceplant is great, but I should’ve just got a twinstar and a smart dimmer for $150 less. I’ve no idea why this company (ONF) wrote a better app but only set it to interface with their cheaper Nano lights. Ridiculous.
