The light itself is great, no complaints about that, my problem is with the packaging, the box that contains the accessories including the metal legs opened inside the main box, so the legs that rattled inside the box badly scratched the acrylic that protects the LEDs, something you don’t expect from a brand new, high-end product so it was disappointing that my brand new light was scratched as soon as I took it out of the box

Great light. Plants are responding really well in the first week. Now I gotta figure out how much extra fertilizer I need to dose because they are growing fast and no visible algae growth anywhere. Some leaves show signs of nutrient deficiency after ramping to 70% so I dimmed back down to 57% until I figure out the extra fertilizer dosage and avoid any algae growth.

BucePlan provided exceptional support when the light arrived damaged during transit by Fedx. Sent another one right out, while I got to use the damaged one until I received the new light. The light itself is a 9 out of ten. I did order a 3rd party $11 wifi controller and $2.50 female to male jack that plugs into the Twinstar power cord and makes it programmable with light sensitivity. That wifi controller makes the light a 10 out of 10. The plants are pearling and producing oxigen like crazy, massive growth. Love it!!

This light is very bright and has some decent settings with the included controller. It’s powerful enough for my planted aquarium. I don’t like the feet on my rimless aquarium and 3d printed some feet to keep the metal off the glass. I also use a smart plug to have more control over the time the light turns on or off.

Awesome light upgrade from the cheap ones on amazon. As soon as I added the lights the plants looked much healthier, fish were enjoying it and the aquarium itself was vibrant. Love the ramp up of the light as well even if there is a power outage. I can just connect to my smart outlet and put a timer that I like even though the dimmer can schedule it. The best thing is when the power is turned on for the light regardless of scheduled on the dimmer, it still ramps up properly without turning on full brightness.

I just set this unit up to replace my two Current USA 24/7 LED lights which are now almost 10 years old. The Twin Start LED -S Series Vr. IV fit like a champ. This design outputs both of my Current USA LED’s and I can clearly see my plants releasing bubbles of Oxygen as they photosynthesis with these new lights. I have a full Wood Canopy on my 75 gallon planted tank. The height of these LED’s fit perfectly under my Canopy with room to spare. Very easy to control these lights and I have it set at setting 7 and I can surely tell the difference from my previous LED. I will say this, the customer support on this purchase was simply amazing. BUCEPLANT was very patient with me and all of my questions in choosing this LED. I am very happy with it and my plants look brilliant and really pop. I will be setting up the timer soon to coincide with my CO2 injection. Very Pleased and a great product.

It’s a great light, very strong and having the built in dimmer is convenient for toning it down at different times of the day, just solidly reliable. I combined it with the UNS hanging light bar and it looks clean and works very well.It’s not quite as fancy as some other lights in it’s features which is fine, would a toggle for light types be nice, sure, is it necessary? No. I think the only complaint I have is that it can’t do a 24hr cycle where it cycles through brightness’s, but it’s a deal breaker.
