I spent some time reading reviews on different planted tank lights and decided on this one because of the way it brings out the colors of plants and fish in a tank and I’m 100% glad I did. In the beginning I was looking at Kessil because that’s what the local fish store used and then I also looked at the Fluval Nano LED with bluetooth, but decided that this was the light to get.The way that the light mounts to a tank is a love/hate sort of thing. On the way hand it’s a very elegant, simple, and efficient way to mount the light. You can swivel it to basically any way you want. However depending on the dimensions of your tank you may have to fiddle with it to get it positioned just right for your plants. I’m actually using it with a custom Biorb Tube 35 setup so I have to shift it around to where I need it, but I’d likely have the same problem with any other light since it’s such an odd-shaped tank.Last thing to note, Buceplant has the BEST price on this, everywhere else I look this top-tier light from Taiwan is $100+

Arrived quickly and does exactly what it says, if you are looking for a superior light for any tank this one is perfect. I wanted something for my 60 gallon rimless cube and even though the light is small it illuminates the whole tank. The colors pop and are vibrant! After reading many reviews and looking at other selections I highly recommend this light!

Packaging is more disposable than memorable but then again, who really wants to store a light box forever? It’s safely packaged and easily opened, no real complaints, just somewhat expected a premium experience for the price.The light output is powerful for the size. I’d warn shallow aquarium users to purchase an add-on dimmer because even on its lowest setting, it’s providing enough light for high light plants in a shallow aquarium. I’ll be adding an in-line dimmer/timer to mine. Aesthetically, the light is beautiful. Well made hardware. Color is great, really gives you that expensive looking output and brightens up the coloration of my plants (no livestock currently) .Long story short, it’s a fantastic, very aesthetically pleasing light. If that’s your priority, it can be the perfect light with an added $10-12 timer/dimmer off Amazon. If you’re on the fence and it’s on sale or you find a barely used one, I say grab it.

These lights are fantastic. They offer enough power to grow difficult plants when combined with CO2 injection in a nano tank. The best thing for me is the simple and minimal design. Unlike the standard type of lights that sit on the top of the tank, these leave the whole of a rimless tank uncovered. This means you can see much more. The only complaint I have is that they can be a little difficult to adjust so that you have them lined up exactly parallel to the top of the tank. With some patience and tinkering you can do it though and it is definitely worth it for the look you can achieve. Overall I definitely recommend them.

Very aesthetically pleasing light. I use it dimmed on a 5 g and all the plants are showing improvement. However, the instructions were meager to non-existent about how to work the light and the screws on the clip are not easy to get set correctly. Plus the instructions stated to use a Phillips screwdriver and they are actually regular screws.

It sucks they don’t have a timer option that’s pink, but I got some timers for them and they’re working just like the others, (minus the wi-fi and app, which I’m not as interested in). Only thing that could make these better would be the timer being built-in.
